At my birthday, I had an amazing time connecting with my friends and some of them I don’t see regularly! It was an amazing opportunity to build and connect around ideas and visions, talk about societal issues such as mass incarceration and connect in an environment with such a beautiful ambiance’s Celebrating my birthday, has caused me anxety in the past because of the stories I’ve had about myself (I’m not loved valued and appreciated). And it has kept me from being with people. I’m now understanding that I have what I say I have and can create the experience I want to have around my birthday and just life in general!
