Our Creative Director, Raheem Nelson is also The Marketing Director at The Milford Arts Council in Milford, CT. Over the years he has created a friendship/business partnership with notable hip hop artist, Skyzoo. Raheem was able to curate and organize a showcase where Skyzoo performed along with opener, LIFEOFTHOM and DJ, Buddha Luvjonz. In this series we'll be giving you a look at how the evening went.
Our pre-show started at Strega Restaurant in Milford with a meet and greet. Patrons were able to connect with Skyzoo and break bread. (pun intended) At No Starving Artists we love creating time in the show for networking and we created space for that before the opening act.
