Part of what I enjoy about telling stories is planting seeds for a payoff later. The previous issues have been leading up to the art show. Addo (my character) has an intention of exhibiting this painting he created (which is part of a group show by the way) but his secondary reason is to meet this robot girl by the name of Adisa. (Who is the character of Rahisha) She’s the very first person he speaks with and he’s so infatuated he can barely focus. Adisa is in host mode and only has moments to talk before she heads off to manage the event. I could’ve contained the art show into one installment if I wanted to but letting the scene breathe is important. Look for part two next week.
